Outdoor learning highlights: Our students cultivated an appreciation for God’s creation through various outdoor activities. These included immersive experiences learning about aquatic life, partaking in outdoor recreation, attending environmental camps, and actively contributing to the school’s garden which was started in 2023.
Banner year for STEM and Robotics: Our STEM’s (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) program helped students immerse themselves in the engineering design model, honing their abilities to construct and troubleshoot while fostering collaborative teamwork. Most exciting is that they clinched awards in statewide competitions including Minnesota Zoo Habitat Design and Catholic Schools Center of Excellence.
The Robotics Club entered VEX IQ competitions for the first time since before COVID. Our teams (consisting of five girls and seven boys) were highly engaged in the building and refining of their robots. Their perseverance paid off as they earned fifth place at the state competition.
Commitment to service: Students participated in amassing nearly a thousand pounds of food for the local food shelf, fundraising over $3,000 through bake sales for local charities, and crafting heartfelt cards for veterans and elderly members of the community.
